Morality what is it? what is your morality based on?

3. virtuous behavior: conduct that is in accord with accepted moral standards
4. moral lesson: a lesson in moral behavior
So western morality is based on the 613 laws God gave Moses at Mt Siani other cultures base their moral standards on other Gods or religious traditions

your answers seem to prove nothing you are what you are because of the society you were raised in, which is Judeo / Christian, renember Jesus was a Jew & he lived by those laws, it was the peveresiion of them that caused the problem, look at what just happened to t;he woman in Saudie thats their morality

Morality should be based on what you're willing to answer to yourself for.

I have a problem with people trying to stamp others with their own versions of morialiy.

Same moral standards are taught by every religion and every culture. Difference is how much emphasis they put on learning and practicing in their life, what measures they take to cut down possibilities for people violating the moral standards, how they enforce the moral rules in their system of law enforcement and social life of society.

Currently Muslims enforce the highest moral values in their society and control the behaviour of their society by making it difficult for young male and female to act imoral way.

My moral laws are based on not hurting other people, in not doing anything to them that I wouldn't want done to me, and not doing to them what I know they wouldn't want done. That's where it all starts. And moral rules have become social rules nowadays. If you don't respect them and people find out, society will isolate you imediately.

Were Western law based upon Deuteronomy, women would be rather unhappy.
