Look at all the things that have been taken away from christians
Can't have the 10 commadments in a court of law
schools have been ridiculed to the point of NOT having christmas programs, they are now called (holiday programs)
they have completely taken God out of schools, but can teach OTHER religions. why is this?
Athiest's throw fits when people display a nativity scene.(this happend in Florida, and anything that had to do with Christ had to be removed.
The 13th fold of an american flag repesents God, witch they do at military funerals before they give the flag to the family. has now been banned. Isn't the Athiest community forcing their belief on us? by throwing fits all the time just because they don't share the same belief as Christians. So we are the ones that have to bow to them, what makes this right or fair?

Life is not fair! But law makers try to make it fair for some while still not pleasing others and things get complicated.

Most countries Laws are founded on biblical principles and we can find that these laws are golden rules because most religions have them in their holy books.Think about were society would be with out these laws, even the so call Atheist are greatful that these laws excist. This means that the so call atheist have to obey or else. I say so call because I do not believe these people are Atheist, just confused and scared people running away from reality.

All humans believe there is something/ someone higher than they are and are incline to worship it.

Why would having God mention cause a problem when persons are free not to participate due to their belief.

I see Muslims and Jehovah's Witnesses not saying prayers with the majority mine you. They just stand their while the others do what they have to do.They are not fighting for total control and should not, but when they have to do what they have to do they must be allow to do so that is fairness.

For us to live in love and get along with each other we need to live and let others live.

I am a christian and wish everyone is like me, that is how we all are, in our hearts we desire for everyone to believe what we believe. The reason being we think we found the right way and we are passionate about it and want the world to share our joy. Even the so call Atheist are guilty of this, if they get an oppertunity to write God do not excist everywhere , they will and they should be fighting for that .
Ha! Ha!
The question is who is forcing who right now.

The so call Atheist can not force themselves on anybody because the are about nothing isn't that so.

As for Christian rights, there are none. The Constitution says you have the freedom of religion. It does not say Christian religion. You have your right to believe what you believe. As I have the right to believe what I believe. I am not Christian, I am Jewish and feel that the Naivety Scene on public property is wrong. It discriminates against me and my fellow Jews. Discrimination is illegal in the United States. Also, I do not believe that there should be a Hanukkah Candelabra set up either. Put religions things on religious grounds, there they do not offend anyone.

Bibles do not belong in schools because who determines which Bible is the correct Bible. Should it be the Old Testament, the Old and New Testament, the Koran, or any other of the many Bibles that exist. The Christian Bible alone has about six different versions. Which Bible is right?

Prayer is supposed to be a private act between you and God. It is not supposed to be a public event. How would you feel if you went to a Baseball game and before the game there was a benediction that ended with "in Allah's name Amen". That is a true example of public prayer. Who's God is the correct God.

The 13th fold in an American flag represents the 13 original states of the Union. God has nothing to do with it. The military funeral still folds the flag 13 times.

Your rights end where my rights begin. It is wrong for you to take out your anger on people who do not believe the way that you do. Don't force your views on me and I wont fold my flag in your yard.

No one can take anything away from Christians.

You can still believe in the 10 commandments and follow them.

Religious schools can have religious programs and that's where they belong. I don't really want someone of another religion teaching or preaching to my kids. If I want them to learn about God at school, I'll send them to a school sponsored by my church.

Christianity is taught in comparative religion classes the same way other religions are taught, objectively and without favor. Kids can say a prayer before a test, but again, I don't want my kid being led in a prayer written by someone of a different religion.

Put up your nativity scene in your yard, and the churches can put them up in theirs.

I'm afraid I don't know anything about folding the flag.

The Atheists and the Baptists and the Jews and the Muslims can all do exactly as they please in this country, and so can I.

This is not a Christian country.

We, who are NOT Christian (and that includes a whole bunch of NON Atheists, by the way) do not appreciate having Christianity, which I, personally, view as just a flash-in-the-pan cult, destined to fall by the wayside sooner or later (okay, I'm kidding, there), shoved down our throats. Why should we have to be accosted by images of a baby and his adoring fans at every turn?

I have to agree on the Ten Commandments...they are the basis of all Western Law, and, as such, should be accepted in places of Law, such as courtrooms, if only to remind everyone of why they are there...but then, there IS the issue of translation...some things are translated in a way that is offensive in the original language.

I should not have to sing Christmas songs to the exclusion of all else in my school programs, although, it is true, there are very few really good songs for the other holidays at this time of year.

The Atheists are not forcing their beliefs (or lack thereof) on anyone, those of us who aren't Christian are asking that the Bill of Rights be honored so that we have the right to be respected for our own beliefs. Christians often think they are the only ones who can be right, and the only people whose beliefs matter, and that's just no longer acceptable in this country. No longer the majority, you know?

Atheists complain about a nativity scene...then you complain about the complaint, there is no happy medium! Not everybody can be pleased! Deal with it...there does not need be a nativity scene for you to worship Christ does there? Kids don't have to learn about God at school do they? Is it going to kill a kindergartner to NOT hear about how Jesus died on a cross? I don't think so. I think you all, Atheists and Theists are blowing this way out of proportion!

I am a Christian but I do believe in separation of Church and state. It is one of the most important founding principals of this country. I do believe that things have gone a little far like not saying the Pledge of Allegiance in schools because of the line In God we Trust. I do believe in a moment of silence instead of prayer in public schools as students have many different religious beliefs. I do believe that religion (all religions) and theology / philosophy should also be taught as so much of history and current events are influenced by religion. It is important that students get a base understanding of the major world religions. As for government buildings I do believe there is no place for religious statues there are plenty of privately owned buildings hat they can be displayed. Being Christians in the USA we are lucky to live in the majority. We have to remember that not everyone is a Christian and our beliefs should not be forced on non Christians in public / government settings. I know this is probably not the kind of response you wanted but it's my opinion.

I could care less about the ten commandments in a court... Oh wait, they say that those that aren't Christians are going to hell.
Oh no, no more Christmas programs... Oh wait, there are Jews who prefer Hanukkah.

I'm pretty sure they would make the whole 13th fold thing optional, but if they didn't, that ain't cool.

But come on. Atheists aren't the cause for the loss of Christmas pageants, and their justice is also long overdue. You've had your fun with your Crusades, now it's our turn.

Nothing is being taken away from Christians in this sense. It is fair because no one is preventing them from displaying their ten commandments/nativity scenes/religious paraphenalia in their yards and homes. Religious symbols are taken out of public places because they should be neutral and not biased toward one particular belief. You have just as much right to your religion as an Atheist/Muslim/Buddhist/Daoist/(insert other religion here) does.

We still have freedom of choice. We can protest. We can send our children to christian schools. The military really cannot pick a religion to base their traditions on. It is kind of sad to do away with something that has been done the same way for many years.

I personally do not bow to any atheist. And I still feel blessed to live in a country in which I have so many choices especially the one which give me the right to worship in the way I choose for myself.

Christians are merely reaping what they've sown.

1. For centuries, Christianity made every effort to stamp out every other faith, to destroy every other tradition, in order to make itself the one and only faith.

2. Some Christians openly despise gays, atheists, pagans, people who support a woman's right to choose an abortion, etc. Since the Christians who support gays, atheists, pagans, and a woman's right to choose an abortion never publically say that they support these things, Christianity is left with the indelible image of intolerance and cruelty in the name of God's love.

3. During the Crusades and the Inquisition, millions died in the name of the Christian God. Christianity has a very violent and bloody history of killing anyone who stands in its way.

4. Christians can throw demonstrations saying how abortion is wrong, homosexuality is wrong, paganism is wrong, atheism is wrong, evolution is wrong, etc, but if anyone throws a demonstration on how Christianity is wrong, the Christians can't handle it. Don't dish it out if you can't take it.
