I'm trying to stop listening to so much secular metal, but I can't find any good Christian bands to replace them.

What is this junk? A third of you people are telling me that there's no such thing as Christian Metal. The other third, giving me sick and satanic bands like Slipknot. And the other third actually answering my question and giving me some good bands. :-P

No, that's just silly. Part of being metal is being satanic.
And I think The One was trying to remember the band Stryper. I used to be a Christian and was a big fan of them when they were big. I listen to real metal now like Pantera and DevilDriver.

That is an oxymoron for two reasons. Metal bands, by definition, play Metal Rock -- and despite claims to the contrary -- there is no such thing as Christian Rock. The second reason is that there are no Cool Christian bands of any type.

I don't believe they're metal, but Reliant K is a Christian rock band.

There was one around in the 80's but their name just escapes me for now! They looked like and were similar to the band Wasp...I will report back if I remeber...

Fortunately, there's plenty of non-religious metal bands, which I presume you're lumping in the 'secular' grouping. Better stick to them.

well im not christian, but i used to be. and i remember a band named Skillet. they're not like heavy metal. but its good
