My friend, who lives literally across the country from me, paid half my way to go visit him for a little over a week. I've been through some really stressful s**t recently and he thought it would be best if I could spend some time away from it all, resting and hanging out and meeting the new addition to his family - his 4 month old son.
It was very very nice.

I attend a women's bible study on Tuesday nights and the leader offered to pay my way for the retreat they were having. I had only been attending the group about 3 weeks at that time.

Not much.
I guess that would be...somebody took the brunt of one of my responsibilities so I could spend some time in my recording studio. It was nice to be able to get in there for a few hours.

My neighbour knows that I will be alone tomorrow and am a vegetarian, so she has offered to bring me a home cooked vegetarian meal for Thanksgiving. I think that's quite nice.

I flew home for Thanksgiving and am currently sick as a dog, and my lovely mother is taking awesome care of me. I'd be dead without her!
