How do you feel towards your religion? God? Has your faith gone? Did it go away but gradually returned or was there a defining moment that snapped you back. I asked my friend these questions and she said she lost her faith but she heard a gospel song which brought her back to Christianity.

I feel the same way as I did before the death. While I'm going to miss the persons company, I don't view death as a punishment.

I have lost loved ones. God is faithful. My faith holds strong and in fact gets stronger from having gone through it. I went through a time of being sort of "carried along" by the Lord when I wasn't able to function at full capacity, but came out stronger.

Just fine, thank you. In the religion I follow we accept death as a natural and necessary part of the cycle of life. My mother died about six months ago. I am sorry that my mother is gone, and I miss her, but never for one second did her dying of cancer make me question my faith or my love for the Goddess and the God -- or my belief that Their love extends to everyone living and dead.

You lose faith because of the anger you feel. After you've dealt with the anger then you will find your way back.

I don't lose my faith. I believe everything happens for a reason. If a loved one dies, I will feel lucky that I got to be a part of their life at all.

I get so lost in the loss of the loved one that it kind of disconnects me from feelings of faith. Good thing my faith isnt based on feelings or while having fear of heights I may become scared during the rapture and sent back for my lack of trusting the inflight event.

How can you lose your Faith at anytime? I praise God that He does not give up on me when I do something He does not approve of. We all have death coming to us, we all have illness, financial worries, relationship problems, and on and on, BUT, we do not lose our Faith during those times, we know that God knows all, and wants only the best for His children, even when we do not think it is for our best, God knows our future. He knows what will be best for us on down the road, isn't it so wonderful to know this? Always Praise the Lord in everything, He knows exactly what He is doing. :)

Well:

I accepted Christ as my savior when I was 11.

My father, mother, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, and many others have died. My father, before my 11th birthday. The others later through the years.

My faith never wavered. I felt horrible, but God kept me going.

Hope I helped. God bless you.

The passing of a love one is very hard, but it is a fact of life.

God has His reason's sometimes we may not understand.
I know for the majority are in a better place than we are here on this vile earth we live on.

After the murder of my Daughter it took me about three years, but I found my way back to God.

I don't lose my Faith when a love one passes on. That is the time for me to stay focused on the Lord. I know I'll see them again one day. But I really depend on the Lord for strength and comfort in my time of mourning.

I feel rejoice. I think about the joy their experiencing right now. I'm envious. My faith is sound. May you seek to know the Lord with all of your heart, mind and soul. Peace.
**Drea-You will see the light when you choose to see the light. God loves you. He has your child in His arms and they are safe. God is love. We live in a fragile, disease, fallen world. God restores if we choose His Son Jesus. Peace.

When my mom died, I almost lost my faith, but God didn't give up on me.

This is so true:

12if we endure,
we will also reign with him.
If we disown him,
he will also disown us;
13if we are faithless,
he will remain faithful,
for he cannot disown himself.
