Its hard to say if his son was asking in his behalf or just making conversation. It could be that he cannot have children either fro surgery or from being impotent. maybe it does make him nervous you would leave him. I would outright ask him if he has anything to tell you because you are getting strange vibes and that his son has asked you also and that its kind of a personal question for his son to ask for no reason. Just tell him what you think....you do have a good point

You can't tell if he had a vasectomy. There will be no scar, or any other clue.

If you are more worried about having a baby than loving him, then you need to hook up with someone else.

Children are overrated, and not as important is being with that some one you love. Quit being selfish.

I am also over 40, and I had a vasectomy. Probably half the men in America, whom are over 40, have. It is not that big a deal. If he did, then you should be thankful that he is responsible.

He does not need you, there are plenty of women out there, that don't want children. So lighten up. Any "Cave-woman" can have children. Are you up to the challenge of not having children?

If he has had a vasectomy he can not father a child unless he undergos a "reversal" where they reconnect the duct that carries the sperm. You need not be on the pill if he has had the vasectomy unless you do it for other reasons such as protection from an STD. Ask him - if he has had one (he may not want another child) be honest and if he is unsure of his ability you can have him tested.

how much younger are you than he is. maybe he just doesn't want to have a second family. maybe his son doesn't want you to give him any brothers/sisters. and why would he tell you that he wants a kid, but r u sure he has had a vasectomy...

If you can't trust him enough to ask him if he's had a vasectomy, you might want to reconsider having a child with him. If you feel he is lying to you, you might want to reconsider the value of the entire relationship.

He might just not want anymore kids. sometimes 1 is enough for some people.

Those are called PARANOID DELUSIONS, dear. Ignore them or get professional help before your boyfriend finds out and possibly leaves you... not because you want a child, but because YOU MIGHT BE CRAZY!!!!
