bacardi 151 and grenadine?

i found this recipe on the net, basically it calls for 1/2 and 1/2 of each... its pretty good and not so strong of the 151, but im afraid that the grenadine will not go well with it b/c it is so sweet.... have you ever had it before, or what do you usually drink/mix with your 151?

I agree I don't think that will taste right...i usually have simple coke with mine...

Grenadine is usually used for presentation and to hinder a drinks taste...not be the taste of the drink. Seems like a pour idea.

I don't have 151, so couldn't tell ya.
