hiya...first of all...dont thaw them in the fridge. The best way to thaw anything frozen is fill the sink with water and in a bag....put your items in until defrosted. This helps in maintaining a safer level of hygeine and gaurds against salmonella etc . Secondly....yes..you need to cook them if they are raw. Boil a saucepan of water on the stove and when ready...drop them in for only a few minutes. Rinse them in warm water then let them sit in cold water until cooled down. Once done...your right to go. reccomendations for a sauce? Depending on how many people your making it for......recipe is: One cup of mayonaise , 2 tablespoons of ketchup/tomatoe sauce, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and add pepper to taste...i usually put about half teaspoon. See how you go with this and let me know if you like. Its a traditional Aussie method. Enjoy mate!!!

Hi,
Just put them in a frying pan over medium heat. Add some hot water from the kettle to cover the shrimp. Not too much water though. Let it cook until the water dissapears. Then add chopped onions, some garlic, any sauces, vegetable, any thing you like. Remember some vegetables need to be boiled before adding to the shrimp. Once you have added your favourite toppings let it cook for 5 more minutes. Enjoy!
