Donot u think this question as a kind of "mirror" --- is it not reflecting what u people say of other religions ---
- dont u thnk u r also good at generalizing things when actually they were done by only a few people?

I HAD PUT UP THIS QUESTION JUST TO SHOW OUR CHRISTIAN BROTHERS THAT EVRY RELIGION HAS ITS PROS N CONS. WHEN A CHRISTIAN SAYS SOMETHING BAD ABOUT ANOTHER RELIGION , IT HURTS TO HEAR WORDS LIKE " U R GOING TO HELL".
JESUS DIDNOT TEACH SUCH THINGS.
MANY GOOD WORKS HAVE ALSO BEEN DONE BY CHRISTIANS.......N THIS APPLIES TO OTHER RELIGIONS ALSO.
THERE R GOOD PEOPLE N BAD PEOPLE IN EVERY RELIGION --- THE PERCENTAGE MAY DIFFER.
SO, BEFORE INSULTING OTHERS ALWAYS LOOK AT URSELF FIRST.

I am not part of the KKK. I do not believe in slavery. I have never bombed anyone. I have never forced or bribed anyone to convert. I have never killed anyone. I have never mutilated anyone. I am not racist. I have never abused anyone.
It's true that Christianity is a group that people tend to clump everyone together in. However, we are not responsible for others' actions. It is our duty to protest against it, and to stop violence, and hatred, and suffering everywhere!
It is wrong to force or bribe someone to Christianity. That type of conversion is not true faith. You cannot force someone to believe something. Converting for money is simply the selfish pursuit of wealth.
As for the person who said that we use the "a few bad apples" excuse, but reject it when used by Muslims...I don't blame all Muslims for the terrorist actions of their religion's extremists. I have several Muslim friends, and none of them support the terrorists' actions. I would never blame someone for a terrible crime just because they belong to a group that committed that crime. I don't care if you Christian, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, or any other of the many religions in the world; if you didn't personally do it, then I don't blame you.

Pls add this one also they destroyed Nagasaki and Hiroshima and when some one from other religion do some terrorists activities they blame the whole religion which the person belong to .
My dear friend I’ve also raised the same question few months ago . It happens everywhere in the world . What they will do is first they will attack a country and do a big damages and from other side they will fill up the wound in the name of read cross or people like mother Theresa or some other people . Then they will say that see how your god did not help you and jesus is there to help the poor . ( They are creating the poor and trying to convert them )
They keep on changing the versions of the bible whenever the world find fault in it . Now there is a new Hollywood move coming saying that jesus was there in India .

Just because someone believes in God- does not make them a Christian. I believed in God for along time- before I asked Him to forgive me of my sins and started living my life according to His Word and direction. A sin is a sin- it doesn't matter if you try to "stamp" God's name on it somewhere- that does not mean He is pleased with the action or that it was His Will.
Anything done in hate is and was wrong- I'm no ones final judge but alot of the things being done and that have been done are terrible. There is not a Superior Race- how could there be when God created man?
Therefore, people or groups- like Hitler, the K.K.K., and anyone else that thinks they are better than another human- can not claim that their deeds are done in God's name.

I feel that the religion cannot be a hiding place for people who do wrong. Blame the people, religion speaks for itself, not the people. Those seem like Catholic atrocities to me. I am just a simple christian, I am not Catholic. I have never done any of those things, so I am truly unsure as to why people would do those things.
As for another possible look at this question, I feel it is wrong to generalize. I don't blame all germans for what Hitler did. I hope this offers a couple different perspectives.
I will say this, racism and a general lack of loving each other is why all of those things happened, so I feel it's only right to love God and love each other, like it is written. God bless.

That's a huge logical fallacy.
First, I have never done any of those things, and neither has my denomination. Second, all of those acts were performed by individuals. Third, all of those acts were performed by a very, very small minority of the Christian population. Fourth, if you look at any group, per capita, you will find the same ration of attrocities. Atheists, for example, killed over 180,000,000 people just in the last 100 years. But it is a logical fallacy to ask modern atheists in America why they kill millions of people.
Think of it this way. Are you willing to accept responsibility for all of the actions of every group to which you belong?

When you say "will u change for Peace n Prosperity of the world ???" You imply that all persons who currently call themselves "Christians" are directly responsible and accountable for each and every accusation you have presented. My friend your judge mental prejudiced point of view is appalling. Do you think it would be justifiable to go murder every Christian you met to avenge what was done by individuals? That's how it sounds to me. You are so full of hatred-and only love can conquer hate. God is love and I hope you find that love soon, for your own sake as well as whom you may otherwise do harm to.

That is to blame the United States government for. But of course you can't blame the ENTIRE government, just the few members that gave it the "ok".
Understand?

That's quite the little speech there. Not all of those things were done by Christians. And most of them are done by people regardless of their religion or lack thereof.
People choose whether to act for good or act for evil. It's not a religious choice, it's just a choice. Religion has nothing to do with it.

CC said it best. It would take an act of God for you to see the truth.
All who say Christ are not Christian there is no Christian teachings to kill and abuse.
There are Qu'ranic suras that promote killing infidels.

These actions are awful, immoral, and un-Christlike and have never been valid to be done in the name of Christ. Christians do not claim to be sinless; in fact, we recognize that although we become new creations in Christ, we remain fallen people in a fallen world.
