I dont think there is a spiritual significance to serving turkey on Thanksgiving. I think its more just tradition because they served turkey on the first Thanksgiving

Indians introduced turkey to the Pilgrims.

I've never heard of a spiritual significance of turkey....although there may have been a couple at the last supper.

The turkey is an extremely spiritual creature, and eating it will allow atheists and Christians to stand eachother while their mouths are full. Truly magical.

Well since people that believe in imaginary things are turkeys it only makes perfect sense to eat one. Plus I like to pretend that its the body of Christ and just eat away at it.

Its just a fun tradition. The president get to perform an act of clemency.
Oops: I though you said "sparing" a Turkey.

Well, I don't think its spiritual. You can serve anything. Its just traditional. Its the "giving of thanks" thats important
