I'm not sure as to your definition of "USA Fundamentalism". I think of myself as a "Christian Fundamentalist". I believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ and stick to the fundamentals (basics) of those teachings without getting crazy about it. Since the majority of Americans claim to be Christians, then I would assume they would tend to want to "love, honor and cherish" their women. There aren't women thrown in jail for being raped or given 600 lashes for sitting in a car in a public area with an "unrelated male" as has just happened in an Islamic country recently.

Any culture/religion that teaches the removal of your head if you don't bow to their god is not worth tolerating or associating with.

Love, live and let live when it comes to religion and all human experiences, including male and female relationships!

I could not tell you what is USA fundamentalism because this is not a clear question. I believe you hold a notion of that category in your mind. So I will just tell you briefly what is Islamic fundamentalism and you compare it to it.

A Muslim fundamentalist (‘AwṣūlÄ«) is a person who believes in a propositional hermeneutics (literal and factual comprehension) of the Quran (scripture) and the Sunnah (tradition).

Fundamentalists Muslims believe that there is no separation between religion and state, and that Allah (god) issued commands and rules on most aspects of life and they should be followed.

If one did not submit (Islam mean submission and Muslim is a submitter) to Allah judgment in these commands then one is disobedient and therefore not a believer or at least a good believer.

An example on these commands is the order to fight the infidels (Jihad) who are categorized according to chapter 9 of the Quran (the last or second to the last reveled chapter) in three divisions: idol worshipers, people of the book (e.g. Christians and Jews) and hypocrites (Muslims who does not follow the commands of Allah like most of the Islamic governments leaders who apply secular civil laws but not Islamic laws).

The fight according to them is to free human kind from servitude to each other and make them only servants of god who should rule sovereign on all mankind.

Also they believe that Allah promised them victory and earth domination as part of their eschatological (futuristic) beliefs

Regarding woman in Islam:

1- A Muslim man could marry up to four women.
2- he could divorce his wife any time he wants but she can not.
3- Women have to wear a veil.
4- They inherit half what a man inherit.
5- Women testimony in court is half man testimony.
6- According to Muhammad the prophet of Islam: women are the most inhibitors of hell.
7- Also he said: women are half in mind and religion.
8- A husband could beat his wife Quran 4:34:

"Men stand superior to women in that God hath preferred some of them over others, and in that they expend of their wealth: and the virtuous women, devoted, careful (in their husbands') absence, as God has cared for them. But those whose perverseness ye fear, admonish them and remove them into bed-chambers and beat them; but if they submit to you, then do not seek a way against them; verily, God is high and great." Quran 4:34

what do you mean by "USA Fundamentalism"?........ islam, however, seeks to dominate the world and force every one to submit to it... not just women... I will fight to the death to prevent that... No woman who wishes to be free, and become what God intends for her to be, could ever support islam in any way... if they can be given the truth of islam before it is to late.
