Thanks to the 1972 Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade, abortion is legal throughout the U.S.
As far as I know, it's illegal to stop a doctor from performing an early-term abortion, so if you can find a doctor in the Bible belt willing to perform one, I don't think anybody can stop you.

I live in the Bible belt (Virginia) and, yes, one can get an abortion. There aren't any taboos about it here. In fact, often it's encouraged.
The issue here is some weird idea that the more children you have the cooler you are, regardless of parentage or whether married or not.
There are a good many 16-year-olds with two and three kids in the city I live in, often with different fathers.
Unfortunately, nobody actually CARES for these children. We now have 9, 10, 12 year-olds that are ALREADY criminals in this city because they have no concept of what is right or wrong. No one has ever taught them because they have no real family or social structure.

There is a difference between legal and accepted. Abortion is legal in the United States...and in many places, especially larger cities, it is also widely accepted. In other places, while it is legal, it is not accepted. The lack of acceptance in these places reduces demand to a point where it isn't financially rewarding for a doctor to practice abortions in that location. Public protests also contribute to the decision of doctors not to practice in that area. The bible belt would certainly be an example of a region where abortion is legal but it isn't accepted enough to make it widely available!
For example, I grew up in a small city (about 80,000 with a large university population)...the population was largely Catholic. Abortion was (and is) legal in that state and in that town but there were no abortion clinics or doctors that performed abortions. Women that wanted an abortion had to travel to the nearest large city (population about 1 million about an hour away)...there they could find about a dozen clinics or doctor's offices that performed abortions.

Abortions are legal in the US- Roe V Wade made them legal.
Some states even allow teenagers to get abortions without their parents knowledge.
I think this is the only legal form of Murder in the US.

It is legal under federal law, as interpreted by Roe versus Wade in 1973. I think it is illegal in South Dakota, but nobody cares about South Dakota and hasn't been challenged in the Supreme court yet. So basically you can get an abortion if you want one.

Abortions are everywhere, but I strongly urge anyone thinking about it to reconsider just adoption, because I had one ten yrs. ago and the guilt just never goes away. Plus it only ads to the scar tissue women are going to have from tying the tubes, c-sections, cyst removal, etc.
This is not some elft wing crap. I'm a liberal, but frome xperience trust me abortions are a mistake. Don't make it.

It is legal but I do believe that it is difficult to find a safe place to get one in some parts of the country.
