What's an Apollonian?

Oh? And did you learn that from Appolonius himself? His name was Appolonius of Tyana. He was an itenerant preacher who taught the worship of one god, the doing of good works and loving one's fellow man. He lived about ninety C.E. in the area now known as the Holy Land, and never heard of another preacher named Jesus.
Accused of sedition against Rome, Appolonius was arrested, tried, convicted and executed. His followers said he arose from the dead and ascended into heaven before their eyes. There were many just like him, each of whom taught his own brand of monotheism. Who are you to say that this is untrue?
