Another reason religion is a product, not a true belief, is the profit it gains. It's just like a brand new toy on the shelf, you'll pay for what you think you want. The many of you who believe in this nonense are in denial and not rational, afraid of the truth.
If believing in a supreme being itself was all they asked, that would be fine. Maybe joining people in a circle for free, hanging out in a field and just believing, that isn't good enough. The clergy want those hands giving money, they want people to come see their fancy customes and alter boys they wish to get alone with, and have the nerve to tell you, with the same size brain as anyone else, what happens to you after you die.

I took many science courses while in college. Every professor of mine got paid and I had to pay dearly for the courses and books. Now, if these scientist are mainly interested in educating people so they don't believe in a God and start to use reason and logic, then why charge?

Jesus, after describing gifts of great power his disciples would have, he told them how much to charge at Matthew 10:8, "You received free, give free." What part of "high dollar" is missing from that? Every part!
At 2Thess. 3:8-10, Paul and others traveling to the congregations did not have the congregations pay them fine income. They had jobs to not be a burden on those people. Indeed "if a man will not work, neither let him eat." as Paul says here.
Sort of puts a dent in preachers with Bentleys. Also, there was no clergy class with 1st century Christians. Life was just as hard for them as the 5th century when the clergy was thought up. All 1st century Christians were ministers. Kids learned right along with parents as a family.
So, if they pass a collection plate, you are in the wrong building.

That's why I'm quaker. Just sit down in a building, pay, and afterwards someone volunteered to buy and set out snack. The only money is from donations and committees get it for necessary things for the building, like a janitor, tables, charities, and keeping the religion alive. That's all, there are no priests, and the Ministry of Worship is selected or elected every two years.
And that's also why really religious people suck.

You're exactly right. Per capita, the Vatican is the richest country in the world. Christianity, reputed to be the religion of the poor, is largely practiced by the richest nations on earth. If nobody paid, there would be no religions. Jesus was one heck of an entrepreneur.

As anything in this world there are those evil people who corrupt it.
That being said tithes in legitimate churches go to things such as maintaining the church, paying its utility bills, giving the priest a salary so that he may live as well, supporting missions, etc. Any person or entity needs money to live in this world.
That being said, at any legitimate church (no matter what denomination) tithes and offerings are still of your own free will to support the church. It's free, you give if you want to.

Hell grow to be made for the devil and his angels. no longer for you. Hell grow to be no longer designed for you, yet once you do no longer want to be with God, there isn't any different place you could circulate that God does not exist. you could desire to circulate to "outer darkness". in case you do no longer care to worship Him now, even nevertheless he's worth, then you definately will later. In that day, each and every knee shall bow, and each tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. the place you spend your eternity is as much as you. He sent His very own Son to die on your eternal salvation. Hebrews 2 subsequently we'd desire to supply the extra earnest heed to the flaws we've heard, lest we glide away. For if the be conscious spoken via angels proved steadfast, and each transgression and disobedience won a merely advantages, how we ought to flee if we ignore so large a salvation, which on the 1st began to be spoken by potential of the Lord, and grow to be shown to us by potential of people who heard Him,

The only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ
paying money at chruch is to help pay the gas, water ect ect
so that we may worship in a building. However we can not pay our way to heaven
telling others about Jesus is what we are to do after we are saved.

I dont know what church you are talking about. There is no obligation to put money in the collection plate. If you dont have the money ready at my church, they will just walk past you. They dont even pressure you to put money in.
However, if you are a Christian, you understand that Tithing is about more than yourself. Also, one should have faith that money isnt all there is in life.
Sometimes you have to think outside your earthly shell and realize that there is more.

In my religion, my money doesn't go into the pockets of my Bishop. It goes to families in my ward who are in need. It goes to people who lost everything in natural disasters. I'm glad to hand over my cash. It helps another child of God.

Worship is free.
The bible states that you should give money of your own free will. Just go to church and enjoy it. Ingore the money part. Remember the bible does not say that you have to go to church, it states that you should support your fellow believers.
