How lucky those less fortunate are to have people like you to help them around the holidays. It really depends on the age, so I'll tell you what my preschooler likes. He likes characters such as Diego (or Dora, for girls), Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Einsteins, Little People play sets and the Imaginext dinosaurs. Happy Holidays!

check out toys r us and see what is most popular this year. but lets see for my brother who is 12 loves anythign with wwe and wrestling, my 13 yr old sister is into fashion, and my 8 year old sister horses and my 2 year old sister into anything with a a princess on it. of course you can always give a small toddler tricycle, dolls, a bat (baseball), small animal toys, just go to any store like kbtoys, or even toys r us and they always have sells or things they are trying to get rid of in the back of the store... so you can end up buying something that is cheaper and be able to donate more things.

It depends on the age-range & price you're looking for. I'd say go with fun yet educational type of toys.
Or you could always go with a classic item- Last year, my hubby & I donated a toddler bike (training wheels) with the helmet & knee/elbow pads.
It's such a great feeling knowing you're helping out a child in need.
