Yea, many times, last lady who tried got an earfull from me. I was waiting for the train, she came up to me with 2 babies in tow . I told her to leave me the F*** alone, and to go to Hell and join her god, and im sure that hes proud of her for spreading his word while subjecting her small children to the cold and the rain. Her jaw dropped, and after she recovered her composure, she walked away.
Never solicit me for religion, you wont get a good response.

Well, the Jehova Witnesses and the Mormons make their annual stops (they're patrolling our streets as I type this), and I have even had a couple of women from a local church (baptist, I think) ask me if I would like for them to come inside and pray with me ...I told them sure, if they wanted to wait while I cast the circle )O(

I'm a Christian, and i've gotten quite a few Jehova's witnesses knocking at my door. I've also had atheists try to bully me about my beliefs. There are those kind of people In every religion.

My whole family are Christians. But the cool thing is that I used to be, too. Once I got out of that, they tried a little bit to convince me that I was just under the influence of the gentleman I was dating. But once I started studying on my own, and they realized I was serious, they started respecting my beliefs. So now I just have to deal with the typical everyday evangelists handing out propaganda at the Holiday Parade. And a few well-meaning friends who have pretty much just stopped hanging out with this "heathen".

yes, the JW's of course, plus the occasional Hare Krishna at an airport, and the nauseating Baptist bible thumpers who rarely haunt the hallowed streets of Berkeley or Oakland, the most non-Baptist type place you might ever find. I think they come here to holler on our street corners bc they think we have a high concentration of sinners around here.
they are annoying

Can't stand that. My mom slammed the door on mormons the other day. I am a christian and the only converting I have ever experienced, were people I knew that didn't know the Lord and tried to influnece me against Him. That is just as bad~ God bless!

No, but I come from a religion that is probably the most aggressive when it comes to seeking out converts.
Could y'all help me with my question, by the way? It never showed up on the main page for some reason. It's kind of related, in a way . . .

I live out in the country, so the only people that ever knock on my door are family, friends, or someone lost. I like it that way. But I have been "attacked" at work.

As an atheist, it seems like there are people everyday that try to convert me. I suppose it doesn't help matters that I am married to a devout Mormon. Religion is always a "hot topic" in our home.

The Jehovah's Witnesses come to my door pretty frequently, and I turn them away politely, and suppress what I really feel like saying.
