No, my religion is not based on fear of God , but it believes in endearing God and making God a Divine Lover for life. In fact my religion has many Demigods' stories where they are examples of errors and suffer the consequences thereof. So I dont need to fear God and know that I'll be always taken care of, no matter what. This knowledge alone keeps me away from the wrong path so to say, and not fear of God. My religion believes in leading by example and unconditional love.

In Judaism, there are two types of fear of "G-d"
Yirat Elohiym which is a fear of affliction therapy if we don't follow the Torah. It is a beginning stage. But we also believe that any affliction is done with love in order to guide us back to following the Torah. Only that which is needed will be used.
There is Yirat Hashem (the divine name) which is serving out of a pure love for G-d without desiring any reward whatsoever.
Most of us have some balance between the two types of fear.
I know everything G-d does is for the best, so I don't worry much.

No many are based on prophets or mysticism. Take for example Christianity the ressurection of Christ. Buddha sat under a tree and reached enlightment. Allah in the cave? Moses receiving the 10 commandements paved the way for Judaism.
It all starts with prophecy

No. But, I am not a theist. I am a Deist. The acknowledgement that magic, humor and fantasy are all healthy aspects of reality combined with reason, logic, illogic, and the irrational all come together as one joyful edible pot of yummy goodness. No fear in that soup.

No, I always consider that God is 1. He can do anything. God does not force to pray Me. But If somebody does not believe in God than 1 day he/she will find that Yeah, GOD is here.
For description, U can watch "Awarapan" movie of Emraan(Bollywood movie). It is great example for everyone.

Oh Gosh, no... Those who believe in reincarnation don't fear God at all, because they know there is no hell as punishment, instead, we all have another chance. God is good and merciful, no way He wants revenge or has any other earthly feeling towards us.
I do believe in reincarnation.
Peace!

religion is a comfort for feeling free from fear. fear of being poor, fear of loosing the wealth earned, fear of being overtaken in life by your colleague, fear of loosing your good name earned, fear of not getting promotion, and what not. no human mind is without fear.love is god and then why there is a fear of god, that means we don't believe it in the strict sense. the fear is man made and inbuilt in his thoughts and god has not demanded your love. love is the need of the human and human mind will be with full of love when he is free from fear.A mind with fear for any reason is weak and destructive. please explain why we have to be afraid of god when we really understand what is love.
