I would say NO.
the free will is like a cow tied with a length of rope to a peg.
It can roam around till the length of the rope.

The length of the rope is determined by the karma in our last birth. Its the Karma which decides the %of freeness in the Freewill.

Sure.. you can believe that there is a God or that He doesn't exist. This place testifies to that.

We have free will so that we may show our love.
God could demand it, but that would make believers nothing more than obedient robots. Love, to be love, must be given of our own free will. God made us to love Him and other people. It is the purpose of our existence.

The common thread of all religions is love.
It is the foundation of most of our books, songs and movies.
The lack of love and caring is the cause of most of the hate and violence in this world. Our focus should not be self centered, but centered on God and others.

~~~ Aum ,,,, No. You have EARNED the extent of your Current Freewill by the Karmic Lessons you have Learned in your Previous Incarnations or Lifetimes. The extent of your freewill in any given lifetime is a component of your Specific Dharma(destiny) and is contingent on the current level of your Soul's Developement. ~ Namaste`
Yes, can we choose what to do and what to think, but we can not choose the consequences of our actions.
Our will, thoughts or hearts desires etc. are really all that is ours, everything else is a gift from God.
