Yes! There's been many times where I've been on my knees to talk it over with God. I feel so much better when I let it all out. God is always right there to comfort me when I'm in need. He listens to my prayers and answers them in whatever way he sees fit. It may not be the answer I want, but God knows best. There is no such thing as unanswered prayers. God always has an answer. It may be "no," or "not right now," but he knows my needs best, and I have to remember to thank him for not answering my prayers the way that I WANT THEM, because if he did that, it would be a mess!!!

I wouldn't be able to get through some days if it wasn't for the ability to talk to Jehovah. Especially when I am depressed or when I feel like I have done something or said something that maybe I should not have. I am glad I can talk it over with God and feel free of any burdens, or even talk to my brothers whom Jah has provided to help us when we are going through trial. But when I see all the people who wrote negative responses to this question it reminds me of Jesus' words that people are 'skinned and thrown about like sheep without a shepherd.' I wish all could see and witness God's love. But he has 'blinded the minds of unbelievers' and he 'reveals the truth to babes' not those who are pompous, proud, arrogant, and think they are above those who try to practice righteousness, and who try to show others the truth. Jehovah draws those whom he wants...
The only conclusion that I can come to for those who refuse to believe in God and those who do not want to practice the things they learn in God's Word is that if they can convince themselves that there is no God, or that it does not matter to God what you do or do not do, then that person does not see any reason to be accountable to anyone or anything. It's an easy way to convince yourself that you can do whatever you want. It's too bad really... and I can only hope and pray that some of the hearts of those who feel this way can be softened so that they too can experiance God's love and the true power of prayer. Just a hint to those who have given up... try doing what is good and what the Bible tells you that you are supposed to do, then maybe God will listen to your prayers rather than ignoring them. Also, don't forget that even though God wants all to attain to repentance and wants everyone to be saved, there is someone that wants the opposite. Satan the Devil 'is walking about like a roaring lion seeking to devour someone.' Be careful that you are not the one that he devours. Learn how to pray, what to pray for, and how to live in a way that supports what you pray for. Before it is too late.

If people are atheists, why answer the question?? It clearly does not pertain to you. If the asker wanted debate she would of indicated so by asking a different question. I think its rude.
And to answer the asker's question, Yes, and Yes. People who haven't experienced God won't know what its like so obviously attack things they don't know.

I think God may be a bit busy with 10 billion other things to be my buddy. Trust me, I'm not that important.

Yes, we have tea parties all the time, with Mr. Fluffles and also Lady Jessica, and Sir Paddington Bear. It is so fun. I'm glad God likes me. I don't have any other friends.

I guess God picks and chooses who will hear him. I spent my entire childhood believing in this myth and it took longer to loose this superstition than the one about Santa Claus

My kitty is a better listener, and a better friend.
At least my kitty never killed everyone on Earth for failing to worship her (although I'm sure it's crossed her mind).
