Since the Jewish people ripped off the "satan" construct doesn't it just make sense that Eve wanted to blame someone other than herself for taking fruit. And maybe it was really Adam who took the fruit first and God punished men by not being able to think with their right head most of the time.

Well you notice that it didn't work. Adam and Eve got blamed by God and punished by God because they freely chose to do what they did. "The devil made me do it" just didn't impress God all that much.

You referring to Eve's talking snake? He kept saying to her "Here have a pesh." but she knew what he meant. Eventually she did eat a peach. Adam was not amused.
So the whole problem started with having a talking snake for a pet, and they are both at fault for that.

No, there are lots of examples of temptation and fall from grace in Sumerian and Egyptian mythology.

No, its a story of humans not being able to resist temptation and not being able to decide rightly between doing as God commanded and doing as they want.
