Home is where you feel like it is. If you feel it's your childhood home, then so be it. If you feel like it's where you currently reside, then so be it. I have 2 homes...mom and dad's and where I live now. i haven't lived at their house for over 12 years, but it's still home.

To find out the answer to this question: Close your eyes and then click your heels together and keep repeating, "there's no place like home, there's no place like home." Now, open your eyes and see where you are!

I do believe when most people refer to "going home" they mean to a general designated family members house.

"Home" is that place that is your refuge. For some it is the home you grew-up in, for others "Home" is wherever they happen to be at the time. Finally, for others, the town they were born in will always be "Home."

Where I live with my boyfriend.
I think if I were living out of state from my family I would also call going back to my hometown as going 'home'.

Somewhere that I consider as safe e.g. if I lived somewhere I didn't feel safe I wouldn't call it home, my home is where I've lived most of my life and know it's safe.

Home is where you feel that home is.
When my wife and I first moved out of town, and we'd go to visit, we were going "home" - now when we go to visit, we're going to who-ever's Home that we are visiting. When we go "home" we are going back to our house.
Your personal definition of home may change from time to time. Home is where your heart is.
