some say, "The Bible is absolute literal, certainty precisely because it got here to the prophets." yet no longer each and every of the specialists make this declare. Many others question the validity and authenticity of the translations, manuscripts and scrolls. some declare that's now no longer even appropriate, regardless of each and every thing, circumstances have replaced the international is distinctive at present. Christian and Jewish scholars even say the unique is lost perpetually and at present we don't also have a duplicate of a duplicate of a duplicate of a duplicate of the unique manuscripts. some even doubt the Bible grow to be actual from God interior the 1st place, attributing the writings to nicely meaning human beings from milleniums in the past. discover out extra with reference to the main maximum revealed e book in the international interior the English language

Yes....there are MANY online to get free including some free downloads. I have them linked to my website and a yahoo group also....you can use them and find them in the link section.
I also have extra copies of a bunch.
Dollar Stores do have some for $1 or $5 depending which one you go to, but KJV only and the print is so tiny esp. in the $1 ones that it isn't really good to get.
You can get free King James, American Standard, New World Translation, Emphatic Diaglotte (Catholic) and some others from Jehovah's Witnesses.

My favorite online version is from BibleGateway.com as you can get multiple translations and links to useful commentaries. Your local church may be willing to send you a free copy at home or at least give you one when you visit.
Hope that helps.

Actually, you can get a king james version from lds.org, but if you don't want to see the missionaries, I don't recommend it unless you have a PO box. If you have a PO box, they will ask you if you want the missionaries over, then you can say no.
Actually, I don't know about home addresses, but I am sure they will send the missionaries to deliver it to you. You can turn them away if you want.

If you have an FCA they'll give you one for free I think if you talk to the woman who organizes it, or get one of those dinky ones from a preacher for free.
