me and my boyfriend have been together for a little over a year. when we first got together it was perfect and now things have changed. we spend more time together now, but we also argue more. we still go out, laugh, have fun, and enjoy each other's company. but for some reason it still doesn't feel quite the same. how do i get it back to the way it used to be when we first met?

I'm sorry hon, but it will never be the same as when you first met. That's what happens when relationships grow. And no, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Relationships need constant work. If they were easy, you wouldn't see the divorce rate as high as it is. It's your job as a couple to find a new "spark" to bring into your relationship. Find something different that you click with and make that what keeps your relationship exciting. And no, I'm not talking about in the bedroom.

1. try to fight less and talk more about your issues
2. try to bring the romance back into your love life. because going out, laughing and having fun is absolutely necessary with your boyfriend, but... if that's all you guys do, then it's turning more into "just friendship" instead of love, you see? just try to do romantic stuff together... that will bring the old feelings back. it's normal not to be constantly goofing around when you're in public after a year of being together has gone by, but it's still very helpful to your relationship...
at least that's the way i see it =)

i know what you mean. This might sound kinda stupid but start spending more time apart. when you see each other...trust me.. sparks will fly because you will have missed each other so much.
