File Form W-5 with your employer. It's too late for this year for all practical purposes. File it just after the first of the year and you'll get advance payments from your employer in your paychecks, up to $1,500 per year.

Just a note--when you ask for advanced EIC, you must have a child and truly expect to both stay in the low-paying job all year and be able to claim that child for EIC purposes.

When you file the tax return, you will list the amount you received, calculate the actual EIC and either get an additional refund or pay the excess received back. Paying it back is not fun.

You can get "Advance EIC" in your paycheck by filing IRS Form W5 with your employer.
