please help me!?

Question

my spacers(rubberbands)make my teeth hurt when i bite something or eat something.i know its going to do that this is my second time getting spacers.But i ate a sandwhich becuz its not tough to eat and it EXTREMELY hurt when i ate it!anything hurts!what do i eat???

When I was first starting to get braces at age 13 I had a problem with the spacers causing pain as well and so had to try to stick to very light foods like soup. I also had to do this for a time after I actually got the braces.

I would recommend getting in touch with your orthodontist to let them know that you are very concerned about what to eat because of the pain the spacers are causing you.
