Depends on whether the pain is in the vertabrae or is muscular. If it's pain in the muscles then you need to look at your posture or the problem will keep recurring. A physio can help.

In the meantime, if the pain has been dragging on for two weeks you should take a course of anti-inflamatory drugs and also use a rub on pain relief gel. You'll get both from your GP.

I'm assuming your a male,get rid of the wallet if you carry it in your back pocket.
Get a smaller one and carry it in your front pocket.
I had the same problem.My chiropractor told me that was the cause of alot of lower back pains

I have suffered with this off and on for years. I have found antiinflammatories from my GP get rid of it.

There are several different causes of this so you really need to get it diagnosed.

If it is kidney stones then drinking lots of water will help for the pain.

If you are getting tingling down your leg then it could be a trapped nerve,anything with codeine works for me.You should see your doctor who will refere you for a scan if they do not know what it could be.

i had back pains and went to my doctor, he took a urine sample and i had traces of blood in it. he says it was my kidneys.....i suggest u see ur doc pal
