You don't say what kind of position, so that makes it pretty tough to answer. If you are looking for a professional position, it would depend a lot on your background - training and experience. Add some info and you might get a reasonable answer.

It is from the Department of Labor. Click on find occupation, type in the position and select the closest thing to what your title would be. It shows all the skills and task and knowledge required to do the job. Some have videos about the job. If you scroll to the bottom and select a state it shows the range of salaries nationally and in the state you selected.
