There is some belief that Mary and Jesus did marry and had a child, some belief that the child is the holy grail. In the translation of the original words holy grail....by moving 1 letter to the left it becomes royal blood. But who knows for sure. It would surely stand Christianity on it ear if it could be substantiated.
But other than the writings of others.....there is no proof that Jesus ever lived. But then again Socrates left no writings the only thing we have on him is what Plato wrote about him.
History is a marvelous thing.....we can all make our own decisions on what we believe....since some believe that the world began about 3 to 4 thousand years ago and evolution didn't happen.

Birdy, I think Mary Magdalene is the "Mary" in question .
Answer to the Q: ????? If so , would have been kept secret, to protect the child(ren) . (& Mary's past?) Most of the stories about Jesus became widespread many years after his death, sometimes second & third hand, not contemperaneously . Some things might have been forgotten, recorded inexactly, mistranslated, or glossed over .

i could no longer think of that occurring. Even my first born son grew to become into sensible and correctly behaved. So he not often have been given spanked in any respect. Jesus grew to become into unique no question approximately that yet he had admire for authority as properly and could in no way threaten or intimidate or look down on his elders. i'm questioning of the time Jesus grew to become into in the temple on the age of 12. How alluring that's that Jesus might desire to reason plenty learn and questionings with the academics and scribes there. yet they did no longer throw him out nor insult Jesus in any respect. for 3 days he grew to become into there. He might desire to have a been a much distinctive baby that had the honour of many even in his little ones. His very own human beings knew Jesus because of the fact the wood worker's son. And whilst Mary got here across him in the temple later he did no longer reproach her yet spoke the reality plenty so as that Mary stored those issues in her heart.

Mary was his mom but Mary from Magdalene was not.
They did DNA from all person's suspected to be at Jesus's tomb and there was someone suspect of being a wife that didn't match DNA of others. There is a documentary about it.

The success of the The Da Vinci Code today has brought to light the question did Jesus have any children. The people who read and believe such lies are those who can easily be misled from the truth through ignorance of God's Word. It is a great story and definitely something that those who are Antichrist can revel in.
Christ is descended from the Holy Spirit and the line of David (let us not forget Christ came down from heaven and was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary). He is presently reigning over the Kingdom of God (which includes world). There was no need for Christ to have a child. He himself said that in the Kingdom of God there is no concept of marriage. Christ through his atoning sacrifice has adopted us as the children of God. Through his teaching he has likened our relationship to him as his children, his brothers and sisters, spouse, and his friends. When we die we become like the angels (heavenly beings).
Did Jesus' name and family have to be preserved forever? There is no need for earthly descendants for Christ. For his name has been written forever in the hearts of all those who believe in him. The gift of eternal life is given to all who believe. Is it not amazing that all who believe in Christ call themselves Christians?

NO, that is part of the Da Vinci Code Fable, which is not even good fiction: http://peacebyjesus.witnesstoday.org/thedavincicode.html
Not that it would have been wrong for Jesus to marry, but that was not the reason that He came.
(Mark 10:45) "For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many."
(Acts 10:38-43) "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. {39} And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: {40} Him God raised up the third day, and showed him openly;....To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins."

If you are referring to Joseph and Mary - then yes.........the Bible records several children after Jesus.
The books of Jude and James are written by Jesus' half-brothers......

I think you mean Mary Magdalene. I don't think so, because then he would have spread his great genes over this planet.
