Most abandoned tube stations are on lines that are still operational, so there are Health and Safety implications fopr visits.

Your best contact is The London Underground Group which does organise trips to such locations from time to time. The Society also has a wealth of information on the tube and underground networks.

Their website is www.lurs.org.uk

This website http://underground-history.co.uk/front.php has loads of information on these 'Ghost Stations'. Most of them are visible from passing trains (travel at peak-times for the best chance of seeing them).

As they aren't maintained (apart from Aldwych - used for TV and Film) they are a health and safety nightmare, so they aren't open to the public. If you were a researcher (or told TFL you were a researcher) you could get escorted around some of them.

Have a look on a website called "28 days later", it's all about "Urban Exploration", someone on there may be able to help. You'll also find photo galleries of some diused/abandoned stations on there. It's a cool site.

I watched a good doc on the History Channel a few weeks ago called The Haunted Underground,it was fascinating, and did show footage of old parts of the underground network, keep your eyes on the TV listings for that again.

Why the floob do you want to get access to old Tube Stations? You do know that they will be either being worked on or be completely blocked off/demolished/converted/dangerous don't you?
I do know a website which you can print off a mini Tube Station and build it though...
