Gypsiedayne, I think you're missing the point. If they used the same methods and techniques that they use on dogs, it would be stupid. The whole point is to show different methods and tactics that actually work with cats. I have tried some of my own and found favorable results.

Oh yeah! I have a kitten and she does some crazy things sometimes. I always think to myself, "If only there was a cat whisperer show!"

Yeah, think about it all the time. Be tougher proposition, but there are some techniques to handling and caring for cats. Great idea!!

Cats don't do well with training. They're finicky and not "open" to redirection like dogs are. If a cat doesn't want to do something, it doesn't. It doesn't require positive rewards, etc., like dogs do so there's no incentive.
