Islam Justice?? I am really confused.>>>> Muslims, help?

If Islam is trying to help us to understand their ways, how can they defend the punishment of a rape victim, by turning HER into the guilty party. Even if she was out, and about at night? This makes her guilty of bad judgment, nothing else.
ANYWHERE else, the woman is treated for trauma, and taken to a hospital, treated, and given information on how to get counseling. In this case, she is sentenced to 200 lashes.
Where is the justice here, people? The husband, says the judge in the case has a vendetta, against their family.
Why was this woman tried, in the first place?>>>How is this part of your culture, right?. Will this sentence actually be carried out?
I can not, for the life of me, understand how this kind of punishment, can be carried out AGAINST the victim. Why
is Islamic law so unjust??
Please help us to gain some knowledge, and understanding in this kind of miscarriage of justice.

As a fellow Christian, I understand the confusion, and I don't even pretend to understand the Muslim concepts of justice, guilt, virtue, etc.

Under Christian definitions of these ideas, the rapist is guilty, justice demands that he be punished, and our definitions tell us that SHE is the victim, not the criminal.

Because they come from a completely different paradigm, it is hard for us to understand what heir reasoning, their definitions, their choices.

I hope to see a (traditional, not radical) Muslim answer this question- it would really help us non-Muslims understand their culture better.
