James 1:2-4.....Consider it all joy, my brothers, when YOU meet with various trials, knowing as YOU do that this tested quality of YOUR faith works out endurance. But let endurance have its work complete, that YOU may be complete and sound in all respects, not lacking in anything.
Matthew 10:22......And YOU will be objects of hatred by all people on account of my name; but he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved.

I'm Jewish, but I'll try to answer this in a way we can agree.
If the Torah/bible teaches us to live the way that is best in this world, wouldn't it be harder NOT to follow it?
I find the answer is yes.
For instance, if we don't get too involved in the things of this world we can avoid a lot of the problems of financial insecurity. Who has it harder? The person who has a lot of trinkets around their home they have to work a lot of hours to get or the person who has a simple home with none of this.
Look around and see how much stuff you can throw out and still be well fed and warm. How many people make their lives so busy with stuff they don't have time for prayer?
If you go into a good Jew's home or a good Christian's home it will feel very peaceful.
I could go on, but you get the idea.

I would imagine that it has always been hard to live a truly Christian life--what of the disciples? All but one to them were killed for their faith. No doubt though, I believe we are approaching times this difficult in the not-too-distant future. The astounding variety of temptations alone is staggering, and when you figure in their availability, it's quite frightening--multiplied by the sheer numbers of human beings that walk the face of the earth now--(shiver). The verse that sustains me largely depends on the situation at the time, but the one that hangs embroidered on my wall is Jeremiah 33:3, "Call to Me, and I will answer you..." :-)

From what i've got heard that occurs plenty with people who're "new" or newly back Christians. you want plenty to "do good through God" you start to sense responsible approximately surprisingly much each and everything that's no longer rapidly touching directly to the church which you hit upon excitement in. Like, "in step with risk that lengthy bubble-bath grew to become into incorrect, i ought to have spent that factor praying or doing (fill interior the sparkling) for the church on the instant". Or a controversy or undesirable feeling approximately somebody makes you sense terrible, as though the label "Christian" means it is extremely helpful continually be type and be responsive to-how with anyone no remember what. no person is appropriate, and if anybody in existence is conscious that its God. He made us to have each and all the sentiments that we do in spite of each and everything. the international is afflicted, even regardless of the indisputable fact that it has continually been and may be able to continually be till the tip of it. God supplies us help to get via it because of the fact God is conscious precisely how puzzling it is. attempt to remember God does not anticipate perfection, basically that we attempt to do the suitable that we can. And that as quickly as we learn how to do extra advantageous, we do extra advantageous. attempt to no longer sense "convicted" approximately maximum of issues. in case you have questions approximately in spite of if or no longer you're able to do some thing, or are having problems coping with an extremely puzzling individual or situation, a factor of figuring it out must be prayer and meditation. it is between the suitable issues approximately having a private relationship with God. in case you have have been given problems, basically ask! meanwhile, attempt to no longer be so difficult on your self. God is conscious what its want to could stay in this international.

Looks like you're having a hard time according to these questions you're asking. James says, "count it all joy when you fall into various trials." David was fleeing from adversaries his whole life, but he loved and trusted God. That's how it is for the true Christian.

"He that began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it"
"And we know that all things work together for good for those that love the Lord, who are called according to His purpose"
"Nothing can seperate you from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus, our Lord"
"To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps"
and on and on and on -
