This is why it's a better idea to kennell your pets while you are on holliday.
Was she indoor or indoor/outdoor, was there someone popping in to look after her?
Put up posters where they get taken down, and in the area where they get taken down, put flyers into each and every mailbox, every few days.
Put on the flyer that you suspect someone in the area has your cat and keeps removing all your posters and you think it's so that nobody notices, and that they must please keep the flyer and if they spot a new cat in a neighbour's house to please contact you.
Also notify all the vets in the area.

It is important to check pounds and animal shelters if your cat was not microchipped or you didn't update your details if she was. Call all vets in the area to make sure no one bought in your cat injured. This will help if your cat is just lost but if someone stole her then that is going to be harder especially if they are keeping her inside their house. You haven't mentioned why you think she is stolen. I am assuming she was outdoors and the fact that she is an expensive breed of cat makes you think she is stolen. Eventually you will see your cat if that is so as sometimes I see my neighbours cat in her front window of her house. A great place to put up some of your missing cat posters is in primary schools as lots of kids play outside and are more likely to find missing pets. Just don't give up. Start taking walks in your area as much as possible and keep your eye out for any changes and clues. Like if you notice empty cat food boxes in your neighbours recyling when they never had a cat before and stuff like that. The more time you spend outside the more likely you will be to find your cat. If you do see your cat in someones house I would get the police to go otherwise if they know you are suspicious they may get rid of the cat by the time the police get there. The police are busy and will not go searching specifically for your cat if you don't know who stole her but if you know who they will look into it!

If you went on vacation wasn't someone checking in on the cat? Is it possible they accidentally let her out? How long were you away? And whereabouts are you? have you alerted the shelters? Is she microchipped?
I have an Exotic Shorthair - wonderful cats. They're the short-haired version of Persians. The breed was originally a cross between Persians and American Shorthairs.

They took her out of your house? That definately is something for the police to follow up on.
If you left her outside, then she's anybody's cat, sorry. Nobody would know she wasn't a stray of some sort. She may have been hit by a car while you were gone, killed by a dog or coyote or kids, or picked up by someone who thought she was tossed out and forced to live on her own.
Unless she's microchipped, collared, or was in an outdoor enclosure, there's no way for anyone to know she wasn't kicked out by a former owner. Heck, someone may even have turned her in to animal control or a shelter--I hope you've checkd those places since they only have a certain grace period for pick-ups before they're euthenized or put up for adoption.
IF she was microchipped--a notice should be sent to ALL vet clinics in your city. If they scan and identify her she can be returned.

call all your relitives to see if they know anything, call the person you had taking care of her,put an ad in the newspaper, check everywhere around the neighborehood, (at night with flashlights it helps cats eyes shine so you can find them better) search around your house, keep putting up fliers, go to the police (even though they arent doing anything) ask all your neighbors to see if they know anything or if theyve seen the kitty, if all else fails get the phone book out and call in every number in your area to see if they have seen a cat
i really hope this helps you find your cat i know how it feels to have a cat stolen my persian got stolen but returned i hope to see the same happy ending for your cat

aw... im so so sorry to hear that :(
Keep putting up signs, offer a reward if you can, and tell EVERYONE you know in the neighborhood that your cat is missing and hopefully someone will spot it. Also, alert local shelters and provide them pictures, maybe someone turned her in or will turn her in.
And i saw a suggestion above about walking around calling her and leaving out food... that would be good too. I really hope you find her.

since you were on vacation how do you know someone stole her? She may have gone off to find attention and received it from someone who does not know you are looking for her, place an ad in your local newspaper and check with any local shelters and leave them your name adress and telephone number in case someone calls them to say they found a cat.

Sorry to hear that...I'm crazy about my pets too. But unfortunantly there is nothing else you can do buy maybe offer an award on your flyers.
Good luck on finding your cat.
