When he ended I was in completely shock. He kept dragging me back and forth the last week of the relationship saying I want to be with you then maybe we should break up then back to finally we broke up. When we broke up I was continued to be dragged through hell with him saying one day maybe this will work one day to maybe not the next day and back. Eventually he cut off contact for a month. Now hes back and missing my friendship and realizes my reaction to the break up of yelling and anger was justified...Obviously...Should I alllow him back into my life"?

Well, Jen, I guess in the end, it's you that's going to answer that. If this is the first time he's done this, then he might get a pass from me, who knows what he was thinking.
On the other hand, I'd be worried that things would be okay until one day, he starts doing it again. I think I would relegate him to one of those friends you say hi to if you run into him on the street and nothing more.

In my experience, if you cave now, he'll keep his hooks into you and keep putting you through agony. Sever it, even if you love him still. He doesn't deserve you. Tell him he needs to grow up and realize that you deserve respect he doesn't know how to give.

don't do it. Thats al a power move and if you take him back he will know he has you under his thumb. find a new guy and totally avoid him, that will make him feel way worse then a straight up "i don't want to be with you"
