As has been said, a mixture of all. I make sure I get enough whole grains, fruits and veggies in my diet. I also make sure I get protein sources from soy and beans and veggie "meat". The veggie burgers, chick'n, etc. and canned Progresso soup (we stock up when it goes on sale and it's much better than Campbell's) are my convenience foods. It takes just a few minutes for a veggie pattie to heat on the electric griddle and just a few minutes more to steam veggies for a side dish.
Today, for instance, I had a bowl of organic fiber o's and about a half cup of store brand honey nut o's with soy milk for breakfast. For lunch, I'm going to have some Progresso tomato soup (I had the other half yesterday for lunch) and a slice of whole wheat bread. If I have time, I'll boil some lentils to go in the soup or cut up so tofu (extra calcium, too) I'm also going to steam some spinach and broccoli. For a snack, I'll have an apple. For dinner, a veggie chick'n or burger pattie on two slices of whole wheat bread (free of corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup and other fake stuff), and more steamed veggies, maybe carrots and corn. For an evening snack, I'll have some frozen strawberries (it's like sorbet, but cheaper and it involves chewing) and a cup of chocolate soy milk. I'm eating a bit light today, because tomorrow and Friday, I won't be.

I would say the veggie fruit diet and light on grains. That way you get a variety.

They are all horrible!...a mix of lean protein, veggies and fruits, with a little of whole grains is the way to go. You're not losing anything. You should have a protein shake after you work out as a snack. You can mix it with water, or gatorade as a revocery for your muscles.

veggie, fruit diet, and light on grains.. but you need protein too so make sure you eat enough veggies like broccoli.. and don't necessarily go light on grains, grains are very good for you and will help flush out ur intestinal tract (remove bad waste from your body)

A diet containing whole grains, fruit and vegetables is the only healthy diet. If you only focus on one of these food groups your diet will be lacking in nutrition.

None of the above?
Try a well-balanced, calorie-restricted diet. None of these fall into this category. Remember, a diet should be retooling what you eat to what you SHOULD be eating for the rest of your life. You should be changing your pattern of eating for the long term, not just until you reach your goal weight. Otherwise, when you go off the diet, you will relapse into the eating pattern that caused you to gain the weight in the first place.

Shoot for the Food Guide Pyramid but if you want to go your route take the vegatable and fruit lite on grains

I think you should eat healthy. The diet is a the result of eating the wrong way.
Change your way to eat, eat all things in small quantities,...and excuse me for my English, I am Italian.
