All kids go thru that picky stage...I know you probaly feel like she isnt getting enough to eat...but beleive me they will eat when they are hungry!!! Most young children dont eat for pleasure they eat to survive...they are to busy exploring their little worlds to take time to sit and eat!! They arent like adults who eat for enjoyment!! And as far a s wondering how much other kids weighed at age 2! All kids are different!!! I have a 5 year old girl who eats like a horse and is skinny as a bean poll!! She only weighs 28 lbs.!!! At 2 she was only 20lbs!!! I have a niece who is 3 barley eats and weighs 48 lbs.!!! And I have twin nephews who are 2 1/2 and weigh about 34 lbs each!! All kids are different and grow andd learn at different rates!! As ling as your child is healthy and you are providng her w/ healthy choices to eat everything should be fine!!! If it is really bothering you just ask your doc!!!! Good luck!!! Member kids go thru all kinds of crazy stages!!!! I've got 3 kids and have seen all kinds of stuff that concerns me....but its always different day to day!!!!

A girl who is 24 months old and is in the 50th percentile range will weigh about 26-27 pounds. By 36 months, the 50th percentile is about 30-31 pounds. Between 2-3 years old, the growth, as you can see, is not as great as it has been in the first 2 years of life. Weight, in and of itself, is not as important as remaining around the same percentile range. My youngest daughter was typically in the 25-30 percentile range for weight and 50-75 percentile for height. Between her 12 month and her 18 month check up, she dropped below 25th precentile for weight. At 2, she weighed 26 pounds for 9 months. The doctor had us bring her in for monthly weight checks and as long as she didn't lose any weight, she wasn't going to worry about it. She did top 80% for height, so she was growing up, but not out. She basically held out for watermelon and cucumbers with some chicken and pasta now and then. Her doctor said monitor her food intake by the week and not the day. If she got in something from all the food groups sometime in a week's time, not to worry. By age 3, she had gone through her picky stage and crept back up to the 25th percentile again. She is now 10 years old and while still tall and lanky with some unusual eating habits she has been incredibly healthy. 2-3 year olds can seem to be picky, but their food needs are different than when they were 0-2 and doing a lot of physical growing. It is helpful to offer a variety of healthy meals and snacks 4-6 times throughout the day. Simply offer her the food, let her eat what she wants, and avoid offering her her favorites all the time just so she will eat. Children will not starve themselves and will eat when they are hungry.

My daughter is almost 17 months and she weighs 24 pounds. I think it is an okay weight becuase my doctor just said that toddlers will go through a picky phase and they may loose a little weight before they gain any. If you are really concerned call your pediatricians office and ask a nurse. Good luck
I just did a search and it said they should be between n31 to 35 inches tall and anywhere from 23 to 35 pounds. Hope that helped

30 pounds sounds right. My son is 2 and weighs 31. She is heavy enough. After there first birthday, they only gain a few pounds a year. Don't worry too much. Good luck.

granted mine were twins so they have always been on the small side..
at 1 my girls weighed 17lbs
at 2 they weighed 23lbs
at 3 they weigh 30lbs
my girls were 5lbs8oz and 6lbs2oz at birth.
my son was 9lbs2oz and at 10mths he weighs over 20lbs.
so you have to keep in mind the birth weight. and some kids just gain more than others at first.. dont panic.. she might stay at 30 for the next year or so. (a friend of mines little boy was almost 30lbs when he was 1yrs and about 2-3 he stopped growing and just averaged out- he grew into himself!)

mine is 2 yrs, 3 months...
at 2 yrs she was 29 lbs and 34 inches tall
and she seems to have gained at least a few pounds in the last few months since her 2 yr DR appt.
her Dr said she was in the 75 % percentile..meaning only 25% of kids are bigger than her..so she's perfect
and so is your daughter...picky eating happens, just keep offering her healthy food, and really limit the jiuces and snack foods, unless they are fruits and veggies...
there are days when she doesnt seem to eat anything..then others when she's yelling more mama

My daughter is 4 and she weighs 34 lbs and my son in 16 months and weighs 27 lbs. It all depends on the child, they go through growth spurts.

My son is 32 pounds and is 2.5 years old. I think your daughter is pretty average for her age, my son was 30 pounds at his 18mth needle and has only gained 2 pounds since! They go through growth periods where you think you won't be able to keep them dressed and then these long periods where you think they are going to waste away. I wouldn't worry if she is eating healthy, drinking lots of liquides and is overall happy and acive.

There is no one single Paleo Diet, as our ancestors from all over the world ate dramatically different diets depending on the climate where they lived, their landscape, accessibility to water bodies, and the latitude that they lived. This is a detailed meal plan for the paleo diet https://tr.im/iy3F8
In some cases, a Paleo Diet may be 90% plant foods and 10% animal foods, and in other cases, a Paleo Diet may be 90% animal foods and 10% plant foods.
For example, our ancestors that lived near the equator had year long access to more plant materials such as root vegetables and various fruits, veggies, and nuts.
On the other hand, our ancestors that lived at higher latitudes further away from the equator only had access to fruits and vegetables seasonally at one specific time period per year, and had larger periods of the year where they ate a higher % of meats, organ meats, fish, and other animal-based foods, or fermented foods that could be stored for winter.
