So this group of Jehovah's witness came knocking on my door...?

So this group of Johova's witness came knocking on my door I was sleeping so I open the door & they ask me Do you know God so I tell them yes hold left the door open looked towards the kitchen & said God they're looking for you. When I look back outside they were leaving. They've never come knocking on my door again. I have to thank GOD for that, but just in case I put a 'NO SOLICITING' sticker on the top of the door So far it's kept them away.

so what I'm saying is if you are a Jehovah's witness think for a minute if you weren't would you appreciate someone waking you up on a Sunday morning?

1. I'm not ratting out GOD
2. I was in a coma & met GOD so I don't need no one telling me about theyr religion I beleive in GOD & I don't need to go to a church full of hypocrites.
3. I use to go to a Christian church with a friend when I was 16 & saw a lot of bs being said and people praing , asking for forgiveness then I would see some of those Christians doing drugs & drinking yet they would go on Sunday to church to ask for forgiveness. So I wouldn't waste one more minute of my life listening to threyr lies. I know not everybody is the same but in my experiences I have met more drug addicts and drug dealers that go to church to beg for forgiveness than I ever cared to see.

Your house is on fire or gangs are headed your way for "drive-bys" with plenty of ammo. You don't want anyone to wake you with a warning, just burn or die in your sleep?

Our message is just as important. You have been lied to for generations. The time we have left to make our choices is coming to the wire. This is crunch time. With the wrong information, you make wrong choices. That is what Satan wants--only to SEEM like you made good choices, not actually choosing correctly.

Just like Noah's time, people laughed at the thought of water coming from the sky and drowning everything. Until they felt rain on their faces. Suddenly Noah seemed smarter to them. They saw things Noah's way abruptly. It did not matter. God had sealed the ark door. Hear you knocking but you can't come in.

At some point in the future, we will no longer knock on anybodies door. People who would normally laugh at that will have too many other concerns. Fears will be the main real problem.

For all of my Brothers and Sisters who are dogging the questioner and calling he/she a liar because of the Sunday morning meeting being held until noon...that's a little harsh, un-Christ like, and I'm sorry, but I don't agree. I officially apologize to the questioner for any rude and uncalled for name calling.

This is what probably happened...many Kingdom Halls (where Jehovah's Witnesses gather for worship) are being used by more than one congregation, especially in larger and metropolitan cities. So while one congregation is holding their meeting in the morning...the other congregation is utilizing their time until they can use the Kingdom Hall in the afternoon, by witnessing to others...just as I'm sure they were doing at your door early Sunday morning...however, many times the group does not start the witnessing work very early...they usually don't start until about 9:30 or 10am. Now, unless you enjoy sleeping in (as many of us do), or you work nights and sleep days, then 9:30 or 10:00 is not too early to come and talk to you about the Bible and the life saving message given in it...especially since our message is a very urgent one, just as some of you have illustrated about, by saving someones life in-case their house was on fire (which is a very good illustration - if you think about it!!)

Also...a no soliciting sign will not keep Jehovah's Witnesses away, because, just as 'lover of Jehovah and Jesus' said, we're not soliciting...our literature is free.

you are one of those people who love sensationalism! You know you're wrong, don't you? JW's don't come knocking on early Sunday mornings, we are at our meetings learning about God's word and how to better help a lot of foolish people who have nothing better to do but try and trash what we are commanded by God to do: which is to preach and teach the Kingdom message.
Other posters here have likened these times to those of Noah's day, when he too did as he was commanded.....and the masses around him laughed and called him crazy....but guess what? He survived the Flood along with his family and the rest of mankind perished! So too will be the lot of mankind today. For all of those who summon god [their own] from the kitchen or who come to the doors nude and whatever else silly act they might do to try and stop the message.......know this: you are only bringing destruction upon yourself and those you love.

You're not hurting us......you're slapping Jesus in the face whenever you reject the message of salvation......because He died for you too!

Jehovah’s Witnesses preach from house to house - because - Jesus foretold for our day this work: “This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.” He also instructed his followers: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations.”—Matthew 24:14; 28:19.
When Jesus sent out his early disciples, he directed them to go to the homes of the people. (Matthew 10:7, 11-13.) The apostle Paul said regarding his ministry: “I did not hold back from telling you any of the things that were profitable nor from teaching you publicly and from house to house.”—Acts 20:20, 21; see also Acts 5:42.

The message that the Witnesses proclaim involves the lives of people; they want to be careful to miss no one. (Zephaniah 2:2, 3.) Their calls are motivated by love—first for God, also for their neighbor.

But why do the Witnesses call repeatedly even at homes of people who do not share their faith?

They do not force their message on others. But they know that people move to new residences and that the circumstances of people change. Today a person may be too busy to listen; another time he may gladly take the time. One member of a household may not be interested, but others may be. People themselves change; serious problems in life may stimulate an awareness of spiritual need.—See also Isaiah 6:8, 11, 12.

Why are Jehovah’s Witnesses persecuted and spoken against? Jesus said: “If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.” (John 15:18, 19; see also 1 Peter 4:3, 4.) The Bible shows that the whole world lies under Satan’s control; he is the principal instigator of the persecution.—1 John 5:19; Revelation 12:17.

Jesus also told his disciples: “You will be objects of hatred by all people on account of my name.” (Mark 13:13.) Persecution comes because Jehovah’s Witnesses put his commands ahead of those of any earthly ruler.

Yes, of course, there's some inconvenience when JW wake up people, but we try to avoid that situation by going house to house at a time not so early. We also say "Sorry if we wake you up.."

I guess that went Noah warned them they have a lot of thing and they hadn´t time to hear him but November 2 Year 2370 B.C.E the flood came.

first place we don't knock on anyone's door early on sunday morning. we are at the meeting of Jehovah Witnesses until twelve o'clock. you could put up a no soliciting sign but we are not soliciting. that is selling like the boy scouts. if you are not interested just have the witnesses put your name on the do not call list. if someone comes to the door naked then you are the stupid one. we seen it all. many of us are married with children. I have never gone to a door and someone was naked and if I did, so. just like in Noah's day, people laughed at him and when Jehovah God closed the ark, people tried to get into the ark and could not.
