Hi Moises..You know..what I believe is going to happen is not the point here..

Jesus didn't say..those who know and believe what is going to happen will be saved..He didn't say..those who know what year I was born, will be saved..

Jesus said those who confess that he is Lord will be saved..those who believe will be saved..Once you invite Jesus into you life and accept him..It changes everything..You actually feel God's spirt..you feel his grace given to you. Whatever God's plan is for the future ..I will be there for it...

Hi Moises..I haven't given up anything..I have so much faith. The scripture that you quoted..
Its actually says in the Bible..at John 17:3..
Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

Notice YOUR Bible says taking in knowledge..I am pretty sure that 99% of all other Bibles, say that you may know...

There is a big difference in knowing and taking in knowledge..I do know him now..I really know him..

I still take in knowledge..always will..from taking in that knowledge, I have come to know him..

When you are tied to mans works instead of Gods grace, that is always the result...I grew up believing that I would have to commit suicide, because God would never allow me to survive Armageddon.

Now I understand that there was a lot of abuse going on in my family, so my upbringing was a bit convoluted.

Now my worship to God is because the Holy Spirit resides in me and prompts me to glorify him. Much different feeling and form of worship. I declare the love and Grace of God daily, and it is an easy thing to do. I am much More successful as a a Christian in spreading the Gospel, than when I felt that I had to force it on those who were dying because they did not take a Watchtower...

The burden has been lifted, and I am freed from the bondage of Works.

Don't mind Moises: He always shows up with the same silly question...thinks it makes a point..

You are right! That is what the KJV says, "that they know you...". I learned something new today, thanks. How many scriptures have they changed? Is it pleasing to the God Almighty? Or they might say the other Bible Scholars got it all wrong. I will start studying my Holy Bible with theirs on-line. Anymore scriptures I should look up?

Moises, what is important is what you DO before Armageddon. Only relying on knowledge won't get you past the golden gate of everlasting life. Faith without love is dead.

I have never been a JW but I just came to congratulate you that you actually got out. I came to congratulate and say that God is happy that He got your attention.

We all are in the same boat. The Word of God is the same for everyone, even if some people change the Word to fit their doctrines, we need to go to Word of God of Abraham.

We want to do works, but it is a great thing to know that God has already done everything for our salvation. It feel great to be saved.

I would like to know if you believe that Jesus Christ will rule this planet after Armageddon and transform in a paradise? why you loose your faith in the original purpose of God?

Why you don´t believe that Jesus has the power to solve all the problems of the mankind and resurrect deads?

why not is not the point? it is decisive to know what Jesus Christ will do in the future , all JWs believe that, why you stopped believing what the bible says that Jesus Christ will do in the near future? why you loose the faith in the power of God and the good will of Jesus Christ?

According to Jesus in John 17:3 "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ."

Why you say is not important to know about Jesus Christ and every thing relate to him and his future role in the earth?
