You have to test the foods and keep track of them because everyone is different. For me, the very worst things are MSG and alcohol - instant and severe headaches. There's some other ingredient in highly processed food I haven't been able to figure out, but I know that i run a risk when i eat processed foods. Other things that seem to trigger migraines in me are large amounts of sugar, and environmental factors like mold and dust when its windy.

I have been living with migraines for over 17 years so I know how you feel. Each person is different, what may trigger me, may not trigger you and vice versa. The best thing to do is keep a food/migraine journal, write down everything you eat and monitor whether or not you get a migraine afterwards. Or you may find that it's not necessarily food causing your migraines, but other things such as weather, lighting, scents, noise, lack of sleep etc. Just keep track of everything and hopefully you can narrow it down.
Best wishes to you for better health and less migraines, take care!

Food can cause migraines. It depends on the individual though. You really have to try things out - I find that high glucose foods and packaged foods with a lot of preservatives cause mine. Feel it out but most migranes do come from stress so don't try too hard. Just eat what you want and if you have an adverse reaction make a note of it.

no its not stress. my mom is a migrane sufferer. you can eat almost anyfood still, but stay away from a lot of chocolate. you can have a little, but dont eat a candy bar all in one sitting, also stay away from a lot of milk. you can have it, just be careful. yogurt isnt that bad or icecream. also peppers are good, like raw peppers. hope i helped!
