I agree. I am comfortable with my beliefs, I have connected with the higher power, I feel that I am one of the special few. As much as I would like to share it with others, I know that not everyone is capable. I worship silently and share with anyone who approaches me with interest. It's actually quite amazing how many people DO approach me out of shear curiosity and end up following the path. Silence is more powerful that most people know.

It's not about convincing someone of your religion. I don't try to do that at all. To each his own. There are those that seek help and want to believe and want me to help them through that, so I do my best, but if they don't ask for it nor want it, then who am I to interfere? I will respond to a remark or to a question, but I won't go on about how i'm right and you're wrong. I'm not one to judge.

If you truly want elevated morality on this planet. If you personally have faced the low level of morality here. You would be always challenging your owns spiritual beliefs, as well as others. If you truly believed you had all the answers, you would have no problems with lively discussions. This world badly needs change. Defending the status quo, by not having lively debates or challenges to all the spiritual beliefs out there, as to their affect on this world morally, to me is holding this world back, from the kind of morality we so desperately need. Our religions definitely need improvement.

Why do some atheists argue so hard for their lack of belief?
It seems as if they would be so certain as not to have to try to force everyone to believe the same thing that they do.
Those seem like the actions of people who are really trying to convince themselves.
When someone disses someone you love, do you sit quietly and say nothing? If someone called your mother a sl*t, would you sit quietly? Would you defend her?
If someone called your boyfriend or husband a rapist and a murderer, would you just smile and go on your way?

If you have found something that brings you joy and that you firmly believe is the answer to all the problems in the world -- why would you not share it? OTOH, there is a difference between sharing and arm-twisting and I think we sometimes cross the line either in our enthusiasm or out of a need to control others.

I'm certain of what I believe.I really would like to convince others because of the Peace and Joy that I have. i really do want to share it. But I'm not going to argue. No one will accept Jesus without an open heart.
Oh, in case you didn't notice it Ronnie's a clown.

1 Corinthians 9:16: "....I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel".
When a Catholic receives the Sacrament of Confirmation, we are strengthened, and "strictly obliged", to spread the faith:
CCC 1285 - "...It must be explained to the faithful that the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace. For "by the sacrament of Confirmation, [the baptized] are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed."

They only know there religion. For an example I would say it is harder to be an American than a Korean since we have to be interuped all the time to do degrading tasks, studing, a job, and babysitting, while all they (koreans) do is study and eat.

Religion is man made. Jesus saves any who call upon His name. He gives any eternal life who turn from all and call on Him. Those who reject Him will have everlasting judgement (hell/lake of fire). That is reason enough for me to tell all of His gift to ALL who will trust Him by faith.
