Get some frontline for the dog, and spray the yard. The frontline does work but only on the fleas that are on the dog, you also need to vacuum a lot, and either throw the bag away or keep a flea collar inside the bag. If you have carpet, you can also sprinkle 20 mule team borax over the carpet, let it sit for a while then vacuum it up- helps get rid of doggy odor and supposedly kills the flea eggs.

OK. call an exterminator to help you get rid of the fleas that have now taken up residence in your house! Trust me. They're there and it takes professional help to get rid of fleas (as well as several treatments).

Now, while the bug-man is treating your house, ask him about treating your yard. He'll probably recommend diazanon - a powerful bug killer. That means you'll have to keep Grizly off of the yard for several days as the diazanon needs to be watered in either by rain or by sprinkler. It will also kill grubs - a bonus. You'll have to treat the yard every year or so - as the manufacturer recommends.

Keep the grass in your yard clipped pretty short.

You got it. You have to treat your yard first and foremost , you also have to treat your house or the cycle will never stop.
For your poor puppy, stop the chemicals and just dip him in warm water and give him a bath with Dawn Dish soap. It will kill the fleas and not be so painful. The fleas can overcome him and make him very sick. even die. Don't delay on this.

Since it still a puppy using commercial tick/flea product maybe harmful if you don't know how to use it. Flea can be easily remove only when you bathing your puppy because "flea don't swim they drown" ! Slowly pick them up one by one especially on the head, ear and paws area ( tick/flea hiding spot). Just vac *** your surrounding area to clean up any remain flea in your house. Please check your outdoor area/neighbour if there a "CAT" around may be the cause for it!
