I'm not a Christian, but let me just add this. According to the Bible, God has killed infants, many first born, and has done a lot of "racial cleansing". He's turned someone into a pillar of salt just for looking back. He's sent bears to kill forty children for calling someone "baldy". He has told people to rip open pregnant women and dash babies against the stones. He once directed a guy to perform a human sacrifice on his own daughter.
So, if you go by the Bible, itself, God has killed a lot of innocent people.

God never told people to kill the innocent... serioustly, never. The only people God ever wanted man to kill (exclusively in the old testament, by the way) were sinners that did evil in his eyes.
Now everyones dies, obvioustly, and those not in him would be condemned. As far as i'm concerned, it makes no difference if God has man put people to death when he's going to bring forth even greater punishment to them anyway. It's sounds horrible, but really in the scheme of afterlife, it makes no difference.
Now the reason that we don't hear that call from God anymore is because there's a different plan of his happening. Before the Isrealites needed claim land that God designated to them. After that, Christ came, and it changed a lot of things, now that he serves as the "perfect sacrifice" instead of animal sacrifice.

As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I take my belief in God logically. Jehovah is described in the scriptures as being a god full of love, mercy, compassion... - Exodus 34:6,7
I do not believe blindly, but I search to gain the answers I need to develop my faith in him and how I can benefit from learning. I have learned that God is merciful, kind, loving and all the other traits listed in the scripture above. But -- your question is a good point to expose; many people DO believe blindly and would accept that fake teaching of God saying that killing innocent people is good, just because of the fact that they don't research what they actually believe.

One of the 10 Commandments is "Thou shalt not kill". Therefore, God would not say it "was good to kill innocent people." "There is no shadow of turning in Him." "He is the same yesterday, today and forever."
God bless!

Stupid. God is the definition of "good" and whom do you call innocent.
You are good if you follow God's word and you are evil if you don't. So if God says kill someone, you are good if you do and evil if you don't.

Such a thing is against God's nature, so it can never be so. The answer to your question is... no. Evil will remain evil, just as good remains good.
