Please exclude the reason of it is just a theory, I'm familiar with this one and it won't help me. What other reasons do you have to not believe that evolution has and continues to happen?

The major reason not to believe is that it is not a belief system. The theory of evolution is a scientific theory and you do not "believe" it, you evaluate the evidence and accept it as being valid or not. Basically though, once a hypothesis reaches the level of "theory", it is fairly well proven and accepted in the scientific community.

As far as I can tell and from my experience as a former creationist, many creationists base their "belief" on misunderstood science, out of context misquotes and arguments of incredulity. Take a look at the link provided for a reasonable collection of their claims and the rebuttals.

No, evolution is a well-established fact. Even speciation, which is the benchmark for macro-evolution, has been observed first hand.

And as far as "It's just a theory", that doesn't hold water at all. Intelligent Design (which is just creationism with frosting on it) isn't even a theory. It's not well-defined enough to be able to apply evidence to it.

I don't think the theory of evolution requires any belief. At least not the religious kind.
The word belief unfortunately can be used in different contexts which does lead to some confusion.

There are many reasons not to believe in Faith. See below:

Evolution has been attacked and questioned by millions of scientists who are smarter than all of us, yet it still stands as a solid theory. Christians like to pretend that it is just accepted as fact, which isn't the case at all, thats not how science works, thats how religion works....

The biggest one is that faith based belief opens you up to being more easily led by people looking for rubes. This sounds harsh, at first, but if you think about it and look at history, you will find that all mass suicides were stimulated by faith based beliefs.

Belief also attaches itself to your sense of value and purpose in life. Believers are told that God made them unique and that he has a purpose for their lives. This sounds good at first, but causes them to seek his will, and fall into depression when they cannot find it, or causes them to manufacture it, which leads some people to incredibly bad behavior in the name of God. Jim Jones truly believed he was following God's will, so did Muhammed Atta.

The believers doctrine of the future is flawed. Most believers are taught that the future is a bad place filled with moral degradation of society and that the world is out to get them. This is taught to help them remain reliant on the faith based deity. This teaching is incredibly dangerous for mankind, because it causes people to expect the worst out of others, reject invention and reason as evil and from man, and to have a dismal view of the future. If the future is doomed, why try and make the world a better place?

The biggest reason not to believe lies in history. If you look at the results of faith based belief in history, there really isn't allot of bright points. There are the Dark Ages when, in Europe, everyone agreed on which faith was the right one. There are the crusades, the inquisition, the genocide of the Jews, the destruction of Jerusalem, and more recently, the genocide in Bosnia, Sudan and Terrorism. All of these things are caused by faith based belief of one sort or another.

Belief is very dangerous, if not satiated by reason.

I would rather live my life believing in God, and die to find out there is no God.
Than to live my life not believing in God, and die to find out there is God

I think the most obvious reason is that there is a more viable option - creation.
