extremely bright lights that are shined in your eyes cause temporary discomfort, but does this have a long term effect on your vision?

Hi Steve,
One must also consider the 'type' of light ,,ie,,,light from computer monitor is said to have low levels of radiation (which we all know is cancer causing).
PRolonged engagment to bright florescent light is not harmful,,in fact,,mimicks the sunshine which rejuvinates our spirit.
If it is sleep you are needing,,,one should (of course) be in darkness,,,kind of a no brainer.
The eyes are a window into our bodies,,,,they will send the brain signals if what you are doing to them,,is detrimental to your wellbeing.
