I've even heard that some people thought that the Prince of Persia was just a guy. A guy who could hold back an angel for weeks!

Of course not. That doesn't make any sense. They wanted the Messiah to destroy the Romans.

caesar didn't have a son, augustus,(octavian), was his nephew. and the prophesy of a Messiah, who would bring a golden age of peace, you may be referring to was in virgil's eclogues written in 40 BCE. it may or may not have influenced christianity. virgil thought it referred to augustus, but later christians said it referred to jesus. of course they know better than the guy who wrote it.

why not, theres a whole month named after him...it was added to the calandar later, as with august...

does god have his own month with 31 days?
