The usual... you know, the screams from the house of ill repute down the street, current footage of any war, the reproachful glance of the homeless guy whose beggar cup I flip a nice shiny Chuck E Cheese token in, on my way to work.

when I first awaken and still in bed to have the knowledge that I can stay warm at home with no work or school for the kids and smelling the aroma of expresso my husband is making while my kids remain fast asleep for at least another hour :-)

going out in the freezing cold wrapped all super-warm, being able to walk over crunchy grass and see spider webs that are frozen and white, and also breaking the ice on frozen puddles!
