Does it make sense to move to the USA in search of a job in Marketing now or should I do it after New Year's?

Many companies are very short staffed during the Christmas Holidays and are not making new employment decisions. They also may be at the end of their fiscal year and wont have money in the budget to hire until January. I would start looking after New Years.
