can u human find fulfillment in religion alone without family, shelter & provision?

I think it would be easier to find fulfillment in religion, if I were alone without family, shelter and provision. Under those conditions, one would not have any distractions and would be more reliant upon God to supply ones needs. I am glad I do not have to live that way, I can't imagine not having family.

Many monks, mystics and ascetics of all faiths have done just that, but it is a hard path to travel for most.
