i got an 87 on my ASVAB? is that good or bad?

That is a very good ASVAB score the cut off score is like 15 or 18. Since you scored an 87 you will have more jobs open for you to choose from or you could go OCS officers canidate school.

An 87 is a good ASVAB score. It will qualify you for training in almost every military field.

Very good. Most people fail to get the 32 minimum or don't get much higher than that. Anything above about a 72 will allow you to choose any job out there as long as you can pass any medical or background investigations. Enlist in the Navy and go Nuke Field for the most cash and career benefits. Don't waste a score like that on the Army. Good luck.

It is good yes, the lowest one can score and still pass is a 31.. having a GT score of 110 or better also is important.
Anything over a 50 opens up all the jobs to pick from.

It's not bad... compare it to an 87% on a test at school... is that bad or good?
70 is not the passing score Joy... I love people that give answers to questions they have no idea about... the higher the score the more MOS's you would be able to persue.

It depends on the job you want.
The GT score is what you really want to know.
I had a scored of 114 on the GT years back, I had the pick of anything I wanted in all the branches.
You can always retest.

It's very good. Your GT score is also very important. The higher that score is the more jobs you are eligible for.

thats very good. you can do most anything you want as far as MOS's go. but, why do a pog job,Marine Corps Infantry is always looking for smart guys like you.
