I have been getting horrible backaches in the bra line when I lean forward. If for instance we are dining out or I spend much time at the table when eating I will get that pain. I know it isnt caused from food. Yesterday I had my fingernails done and ending up spending about 2 hours not being able to sit up straight but leaning forward a bit. My back hurt so bad the rest of the day and night I could not get comfortable to even sleep. The pain is right in the bra line from the back and wraps around to the beginning of the breasts. Can anyone tell me what would cause this or what to do?

I have tried heating pads and hot baths etc. They do nothing for it. However the next day its gone unless I do that about of bending again. This happens after just an hour or so of leaning forward. So having company and playing cards for example is something I can not do.

You obviously have weak muscles and I am not going to ask your bra size! You need to find a Pilate's Class, join and strengthen the upper back muscles. I have RA and a few other problems, found out I was having trouble sitting on a simple chair without arm rests, would fall to one side, slouch, all kinds of problems. I have lumbar scoliosis with Kyphosis or haunch back, all due to posture. I went to PT they gave me a few exercises and then I had to return. I felt so much better and did so well the PT enrolled me in a Pilate's Class for beginners! Nine months later, one one hour session per week they wanted me to move into advanced class! However at 49 and advanced has teenagers reckoned I would have tried to hard to keep up, so now I do my Pilate's at home but have reaped the benefits. Good Luck and strengthen those back muscles before you get Kyphosis, hump back.

Well, I was going to say maybe it is sclerosis but then when you said "The pain is right in the bra line from the back and wraps around to the beginning of the breasts," I wasn't sure anymore.

Try soaking in a hot tub for like a long time then the sauna for like a long time....but not too long. This will help if it is just a backache or just something causing you pain. I think you should go to the doctor though...

Sounds like you may have a little subluxation of one of your ribs. If the pain is on one side, it hurts to take a deep breath, and if you rotate toward that side with your upper body and it hurts, it is probably a rib. An easy way to take care of this is to go to a chiropractor, it should only take a couple of visits. If you are hesitant to go to the chiro you can try to reduce it yourself. What you do is rotate toward the side of pain with your upper body when you get to end range just twist a little more.( don't jerk) Do about ten of these every hour or so and you can take some ibuprofen to help with the inflammation. One thing you should not do is try to stretch it out, you will feel like you want to stretch it out, but that will just keep the rib out of place. I hope this helps, if you need to ask any more questions just message me.

Not definite I have a well reply however I could recommend you get to the basis reason- do not expect it is a knot. If it is simply muscular, a sizzling bath and therapeutic massage however warmness additionally raises infection. Advil could support. Get extra evaluations from MD's and might be a brand new MRI should you've herniated a disc.
